Questions about cancellation insurance

You registered for an event but can't participate
If you registered online via Datasport and took out cancellation insurance, you can submit a refund claim to the insurance company.

The following documents must be submitted to Europäische Reiseversicherungs AG:
  • Proof of payment of the participation fee and proof of cancellation insurance (e-mail confirmation from Datasport).
     
  • A detailed doctor’s note which confirms the illness/accident
If the claim is approved, you will automatically receive a Datasport voucher in the amount insured. The Datasport voucher allows free registration for yourself or others for any event. If you would like a cash refund, please let us know after you receive the voucher.

The good Idea: Voucher from Datasport
Datasport will cover the processing fees if you buy a voucher during an online registration. Looking for a gift? Datasport vouchers can also be purchased without registering. If you pay by bank- or post transfer, the processing fees will be covered as well.
