Grossglockner ULTRA-TRAIL® (GGUT 110) mainly follows the trails of the so called "Glocknerrunde" around Austria's highest mountain, the Großglockner (3,798 m). Through the scenic landscape of the National Park Hohe Tauern, the race crosses 3 provinces, 7 valleys, 6 municipalities, runners cross the Alps twice, running along 14 glaciers, surrounded by around 300 mountains higher than 3.000m.

After starting running on the road out of Kaprun, further on forest roads passing the Gletscherbahn Kaprun, then into the trails and the ascent to the dam of reservoir Mooserboden. Over the dam on technical trails, finally passing a snowfield, to the Kapruner Törl (2,639 m). From there down downhill to the reservoir Tauernmoos and again immediately up to Rudolfshütte (2,315 m). Then continuing, finally passing a snowfield, to Kalser Tauern (2,515 m), and from there in a long technically difficult downhill into the Dorfertal. Rather flat then from approx. Kalser Tauernhaus and later softly down to Kals am Großglockner. From Kals into a long climb to the idyllic "Greiwiesen" and then a short downhill to Lucknerhaus with stunning views of the Grossglockner. The Grossglockner always in view the track passes Lucknerhütte (2,241 m), from there technically difficult to the roof of the GGUT 110 at Pfortscharte (2,838 m).
 
Then downhill passing Salmhütte, and continuing on fine trails to Stockerscharte (2,465 m) with stunning views of the Pasterze. From the Stockerscharte technically challenging downhill over the dam of the reservoir Margaritze, up passing the Glocknerhaus, at the end over a snowfield to the Untere Pfandlscharte (2.663 m). With a final look back on the Grossglockner over a snowfield (attention) in a long downhill down to the Trauneralm, from there flat to Ferleiten and then slightly falling on trails to Fusch an der Glocknerstraße. From Fusch into the last climb, then downhill to Kaprun and through the center of Kaprun to the finish at Maiskogelparkplatz.

Start of the Osttirol Trail (OTT 80) is on Enzingerboden (1,483 m) at the ground station of the Weissee Gletscherwelt cable car. From there via the middle station of the cable car directly to the Rudolfshütte (2,315 m). Then continuing, finally passing a snowfield, to Kalser Tauern (2,515 m), and from there in a long technically difficult downhill into the Dorfertal. Rather flat then from approx. Start of the Grossglockner Trail is in the middle of Kals am Großglockner (Musikpavillon). From Kals the track runs on the old "Glocknerstrasse" towards Lucknerhaus, there with the first stunning views of the Grossglockner. The Grossglockner always in view the track passes Lucknerhütte (2,241 m), from there technically difficult to the roof of the GGT 55 at Pfortscharte (2,838 m). Then downhill passing Salmhütte, and continuing on fine trails to Stockerscharte (2,465 m) with stunning views of the Pasterze. From the Stockerscharte technically challenging downhill over the dam of the reservoir Margaritze, up passing the Glocknerhaus, at the end over a snowfield to the Untere Pfandlscharte (2,663 m). The starting line of Weissee Gletscherwelt Trail is located at Enzingerboden (1,483 m) at the ground station of the cable car to Weissee Gletscherwelt. Soon after the start the track passes Grünsee, from there to the middle station of the cable car and then directly up to the Rudolfshütte (2,315 m). Then trough a technically challenging downhill to the reservoir Tauernmoos (about 2,000 m), from there straight uphill through the Rifflkar and along the glacier Rifflkees to Kapruner Törl (2,639 m). Right below Kapruner Törl the track passes a snowfield, then runs on fine trails along the reservoir Mooserboden with a brilliant look to Wiesbachhorn (3,564 m). After crossing Mooserboden's mighty dam, the track follows partwise technical trails downhill to Gletscherbahn Kaprun, from there only flat to the finish line to Kaprun. The track runs through 2 valleys, along 5 glaciers, 300 peaks with more than 3,000 m around.

Running around Austria's highest mountain, the Grossglockner (3,798 m) as a team of two.

Runner 1 starts in Kaprun together with GGUT 110.
